WRITING IS AN ART. Writing is more than facts and figures, 5 paragraphs and a bunch of rules. Good writing is fueled by a vision, a strong point of view and the exercise of multiple soft skills. The “Finish the Drawing” exercise, at the start of each chapter, challenges students to embrace expressing themselves through writing. Drawing requires imagination, patience, and thoughtfulness, as does writing in both its planning and building phases.
