With 20 years experience teaching and facilitating art education programs, classes, workshops for children and teens, Altesa effectively combines her training as an Actor and degree in Social Work to observe and celebrate humanity. Altesa's unhinged creativity, down to earth and direct approach breeds an environment where everyone is empowered to follow their creative passions while being their unique selves.
Altesa's professional and personal background includes performance as an Actor, Storyteller and Writer, Homeschool mom to 2 brilliant boys, Entrepreneur, Founder/ CEO of That Homeschool Life and Actors Training Academy.
She earned her MFA in Acting from the Actor's Studio Drama School, NYC and BA in Social Work from Rutgers University, NJ.
She is passionate about creating learning experiences for people as an Artist, Teacher and Creator.
